Abbott Elementary, a workplace comedy created by Quinta Brunson, has gone viral.
Brunson plays Janine Teagues, an eager teacher who is devoted to elevating her students. Ava Coleman (Janelle James) is the unqualified principal; Barbara Howard (Sheryl Lee Ralph) is a Philly native who has made numerous connections; Jacob Hill (Chris Perfetti) is a newly-minted full-time teacher.
The Abbott teachers will have to deal with the difficult demands of working at an understaffed school like in season 1. (Especially Janine), but their care and concern for their students will carry them through the new school year.
