Bell strikes a firebolt at the Juggernaut, promising to kill it and return Ryuu to the family. While Ryuu has a vision of the Astrea family, she encourages her to wake up and assist Bell.
Ryuu realizes she wants to save Bell, prompting her to scream out. Outside the cavern, she hears Bell fighting with the Juggernaut and rushes out to help him.
Bell and Ryuu take on the Juggernaut together, each attacking from different angles. Bell then uses Argo Vesta to smash the floor, temporarily allowing Bell to launch a Firebolt under the Juggernaut's armor while Ryuu hits it with Luminous Wind.
When Wiene suddenly says she can hear their voices, the Xenos go to the location and discover Bell and Ryuu who are still alive. As they offer assistance, the Xenos hear Bell's party calling out for them and decide to leave them to their human friends. They quickly vanish as Bell's party discovers him and Ryuu rescuing them.

Bell and Ryuu spend several days recuperating while all their friends visit them. The pair meet up and spend the day together as Bell discusses the injuries to his left arm that had to be rebuilt from scratch. Although it sounds terrible, he has a full range of motion back thanks to a healer and some magic.
Ryuu thanks Bell for his help in completing the episode. Bell gives Ryuu the benefit of knowing she is beautiful, prompting Ryuu to blush and flee.
The difference that surprised me the most about the conclusion was that instead of having Bell's friends and party save him and Ryuu, the pair instead saved themselves. It was an interesting move, but it made perfect sense given how much their relationship has developed throughout the series. After all, seeing them triumph together seemed more appropriate than if they had just waited to be saved.
I liked the slower pace of the season finale, especially considering everyone was so kind and the final scene between Bell and Ryuu tied everything together nicely. If this series is renewed for a fifth season, it will be interesting to see where this series goes next.
