The Redfall story trailer has finally been released ahead of the game's May 2 release date, which features key elements from science fiction cinema as well as supernatural horror and body horror media.

The game takes place on Redfall, Massachusetts, a quiet, quaint town until researchers from Aevum Therapeutics accidentally kill a deceased test subject in a sinister experiment. The result is that those affected turn into mutant vampires one by one and invade Redfall. A group of survivors forms a cult and begins worshipping these vampires throughout the game's narrative.
