The April Splatfest for Splatoon 3 has been announced by Nintendo, with a cryptid theme, asking players to indulge their inner conspiracy theorist in order to determine which one is most likely to be true. It will begin on April 1, 2023.
The three cryptids that Splatfest is asking players to debate are the Loch Ness Monster ("Nessie"), aliens and Bigfoot. As always, each member of Deep Cut will be representing a team, with Shiver reciting Nessie, Frye arguing for aliens, and Big Man appropriating Bigfoot.
The April Splatfest for Splatoon 3 will be held from midnight UTC on April 1, 2023 until midnight UTC on April 3, 2023. Players can get a sneak peek at the event starting on March 24, 2023.
This is the fifth Splatfest since the release of Splatoon 3 in September 2022. Previous topics included what players would bring to a desert island, Pokémon types, preferred flavors, and chocolate types. There was also a Splatfest before the game's release, the Splatoon 3 World Premiere.
Splatoon 3 is now available on Nintendo Switch. The April Splatfest will be held April 1-2, 2023.
