The leaders of the EVO pirate group, which was specialized in popular films and series, have been arrested by Portuguese authorities. TorrentFreak received this information from the head of the Alliance for Creativity and Entertainment.
Voorn admitted that the Portuguese authorities made several arrests, but declined to reveal the full details of the investigation. It is also unknown what happened to those arrested after the arrest.

EVO has been active in publishing high quality films since the 1980s, including a copy of Spider-Man: No Way Home prior to the Blu-ray release, and released Denis Villeneuve's Dune prior to the US premiere.
