The metaverse will have all of the benefits of a role-playing game.

Hajime Tabata, the head of Final Fantasy XV development at Square Enix, has started a project called Ryugukoku, which is a collaboration of Japanese authorities devoted to the creation of the metaverse.

Tabata hopes to "renew Japan with the power of games." The metaverse should acquire the characteristics of a role-playing game and become a shared infrastructure used by various government agencies and corporations.

Ryugukoku will create a fantasy world similar to multiplayer role-playing games in the metaverse. Each service will be presented as a moving castle wandering around the world.

Tabata hopes that the Ryugukoku metaverse will be able to extend beyond Japan in the future.

When will the first version of the metaverse earn?

This is a fascinating piece of information.
