There are also data on Tencent, Apple, and Google's i mobile games sales and ei revenues that were leaked from Microsoft's correspondence about Activision Blizzard in 2022.

Microsoft takes the data from Newzoo and provides it in the agreement to demonstrate how Tencent maintains its mobile market dominance.

Apple – $32.5 billion, Google – $14.8 billion

Apple's video game revenue from mobile platforms is almost equivalent to Microsoft's from Xbox in 2022, with the former at 15.56 billion in the same period.

This is a remarkable figure, considering that for Apple those are essentially passive revenues, derived from the percentage that the company earns from the sales of games created by other teams and publishers. This also explains why Microsoft intends to acquire King given the potential for it to take in this market segment.
