Fuse Games, good day to EA, the new team is made up of Criterion veterans ...

Electronic Arts' last videogame year culminated with the passing of five established Criterion Games employees as well as the author team of the recent Need for Speed: Unbound film.

Matt Websterl'head of content and Pete Lakel'head of technology had both announced the retirement of EA just months before. Fuse Games is a new software company based in Guildford, England.

The gaming reality is already working on a first AAA title that has been obscured in mystery, that may or may not be a racing game. Over the next few months, according to Matt Webster, the management will begin a recruitment process for additional players.

All that remains is to wait for the release of Fuse Games' first independent production, which has contributed to several iterations of Need for Speed e Burnout, including the imagery of Need for Speed: Unbound.
