A terrible set of figures and a great love
James (Jeremy Irvine) is a man who is separated from his one true love (Hannah Emily Anderson), and who returns to Silent Hill in search of her. He discovers a strange evil.
As he enters the dark, he encounters terrifying figures that are both familiar and new. He also begins to question his own self-worth as he struggles to make sense of reality and persevere long enough to save his lost love.
"Return to Silent Hill is a mythological love story about a guy who is so enthused that he is willing to go to hell to save someone," says Gans. "I'm delighted to have engaged the wonderful talents of Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson for this journey into a psychological horror world that I hope will both please and surprise Silent Hill lovers."
