Factions – Ikkuro and Dhayut, the first DLC for the strategic 4X Distant Worlds 2, has been announced. The latest content, as you can guess from the title, will be available from now.
Ikkuro's group is a peaceful group, seeking happiness, development, and harmony. It has self-repairing spaceships, created by mixing technology and biology, and has a thorough knowledge of all galactic biomes and terraforming, so as to be unparalleled in constructing habitable places throughout the universe.
Instead, the Dhayut is a paranoid and double-dealing group, with fast spaceships and the capability to infiltrate other societies and manipulate other empires from within.

Each of the two new factions is introduced with its own narrative line, composed of unique events that may be observed by exploring the universe. Both offer unique playstyles, which will delight those who have already gnawed Distant Worlds 2.
