Kelsea Ballerini, 29, is ecstatic about her new relationship with Chase Stokes. In a call on the Call Her Daddy podcast, she revealed that she's dating the guy, and she shared more details about how they met. She talked about her separation from her former husband Morgan Evans, and the difficulties she's faced.

On the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kelsea answered, "No, no!" Before talking about her new romance with Chase. "It's all really new to me," she said. "I'm tiptoeing, but I'm happy."
'You know who's super cute when you're ready,' she says, referring to how they met. 'I'm not going to get on the apps.' He shoots 'Outer Banks' in Charleston, and my manager lives there. He puts the bug in my ear.' I'm like, 'You're so right!' I've never seen the program, but I knew him.'He followed me into the boat.'
"His handle is @HiChaseStokes, so I said, 'Hi, Chase Stokes,'" she said. She then confirmed that they first met in December 2022 and that they're "merely having fun."
Chase is well-known as an actor and has appeared in many films since 2020, including the Netflix series, Outer Banks. He was born in Annapolis, MD, and moved to Georgia and Florida, where he attended Valencia College, University of Central Florida, and Seminole State College. He originally wanted to be an ice hockey player before turning to acting in 2014.
Kelsea and Chase have shared Instagram images of their new love story since they first met. One photo shows them snuggling up during a football game, while another video shows Chase lying on his bed while he sleeps with Kelsea.
Morgan Evans is a well-known attorney.
Kelsea became romantically engaged to Chase in November 2017. She was married to singer Morgan for almost five years until 2022. They met while co-hosting Australia's Country Music Channel Awards in Morgan's homeland in March of 2016, and they married a year later in Mexico on December 2, 2017.
Kelsea and her husband announced their separation on Instagram on August 2022. "This is now a public record," she wrote at the time. "This deeply troubling decision is the result of a journey of love, growth, and effort that has come to an end." Their divorce came three months later, in November.
Kelsea talked about her separation from Morgan and made headlines with controversial statements on her show. "He loved me more at 23. And I love me more at 29."
She said she didn't realize how he'd gotten along with Morgan at the time their marriage ended. "He's taking half the house he didn't pay for," she said.
Morgan responded to her concerns with his own Instagram post, calling her "sad" and "reality," and urging people not to be "mean" to either of them.
Morgan wrote in his blog that it's "terrifying for me to see someone, whom I spent so much of my life with, and who I truly loved," saying things that aren't true and that neglect what really happened. "She knows I'm not the type to discuss those things publicly."
"I hope it helps," he said. "Do not be mean to Kelsea, don't be mean to one another."
Kelsea deleted Morgan's Instagram on February 27 after confirming her romance with Chase. He was still following her on February 28.
