In his brand-new docuseries Over For You, Morgan Evans, 38, discusses his career and marriage to Kelsea Ballerini. He admits in his fifth YouTube video (released February 28) that he "feels pretty good," while acknowledging that he "has a long way to go."
Morgan has been a vocalist since the couple split in November of 2022, and she's been vocal about the marriage and the consequences following the split. “If this is what she needs to heal, I hope it helps,” he wrote in a Feb. 21 Instagram post.

1.He was married to Kelsea Ballerini for about five years.
Kelsea, Morgan's ex-wife, was married in 2017 after dating for one and a half years. They met while co-hosting Australia's Country Music Channel Awards in March of 2016. He proposed that Christmas to Morgan, and they married a year later in Mexico on November 2, 2017.
She wrote on Instagram at the time that her divorce was not intended to be. In November of 2022, they announced their separation.
As a teenager, he began playing music.
Morgan was chosen to perform his first concert at the age of 13. In high school, he formed a rock band called Extortion, which was renamed Solver in 2006, which allowed him to fly to Nashville to record his first song.
3.He has released several successful albums and EPs.
Morgan's first EP, Big Skies, was released in 2007. They were released only eight months apart in 2012, though. He won the 2013 CMC Award for New Artist of the Year in Australia, and dropped his first album, Morgan Evans, in 2014. In September of 2021, he announced the release of EP The Country and the Coast. And most recently, he released a YouTube documentary in 2023 centered on his marriage to Kelsea.

Morgan left Australia for good in 2017 and signed with Warner Music in 2018. He released his first album "Kiss Somebody," which has seen him gain in popularity. In 2018, Morgan told HollywoodLife that his album at the time included several "pure love songs" about his famous ex-wife.

Morgan opened up for Taylor Swift on her Australian leg of her Red Tour, and he'll next open up for Chris Young on his Losing Sleep tour later this year.
