When it came to 3D imaging, did you know that a three-dimensional image on the screen could be seen without special glasses ten years ago? Every trustworthy manufacturer of TVs, smartphones, and tablets should have released at least one device with support for this feature. ZTE decided to make yet another effort to introduce the technology to the general public and introduced the Nubia Pad 3D tablet.

Nubia Pad 3D is the first Android tablet to offer a 3D screen that does not require special stereoscopic glasses, and it was developed in collaboration with Leia Inc., a company that develops 3D screen technologies and various services related to their use.

The ZTE Nubia Pad 3D tablet has a 12.4-inch 16:10 aspect ratio IPS display with a resolution of 25601600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The panel has a special proprietary DLB layer with Leia 3D Lightfield mode, developed by Leia Inc., that allows you to convert a 2D image to 3D in real time with special software already installed on the tablet.

The device includes two 8-megapixel front-facing cameras that enable user gaze tracking, which are required to produce stereoscopic images and videos. Additionally, cameras can be used to photograph and scan surrounding objects in the picture.

The Nubia Pad 3D is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. There is 8 GB of RAM as well as 128 or 256 GB of permanent memory included. MicroSD memory cards are also included to enhance the device's performance.

The tablet is powered by a 9700 mAh battery that allows 33W fast charging. The gadget also has a USB Type-C 3.1 connector.

Nubia Pad 3D software is also being developed by ZTE and Leia Inc., which has several Leia 3D apps pre-installed, as well as access to the Leia Appstore with over 50 3D-enabled games and over 1200 learning apps.

Pre-orders for the ZTE Nubia Pad 3D tablet will begin accepting on March 25th. Actual sales of the device will begin on April 11th.
