LATIN0, a Reddit user, told a strange story last weekend that amazed and horrified thousands of Magic The Gathering fans.
The user saw something unusual while he was throwing away six pallets of Magic: The Gathering, unaware of what he was describing. He returned home empty-handed, while his colleague, more brave, took a package which he handed over to his son.
The macabre sight of thousands of people shocked him, the most experienced of whom estimated the value of the abandoned cards at around $100,000, who knows by whom, in the landfill. This is an optimistic estimate, considering that those packs, a mix of sets such as Secret Lair, Modern Horizons 2, and Unfinity, may also contain very valuable cards, capable of valuing the whole amount at 250 thousand dollars.
