Microsoft 2023 will have a year that promises to be even better than 2022, a year in which there were little first party launches, and in terms of Xbox Game Pass sales, they were underestimating.

Yet, in 2023, they have started with a very refreshing exclusive first party, Hi-Fi Rush, and they have lines Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and Starfield (a priori) for the first half of the year.

Spencer talked about it in a video interview for Xbox On, which was highlighted by VGC. "Little things are coming," but the majority of them are being saved for the Xbox Games Showcase in June.

In the next months, Microsoft will make "Goldeneye"-like announcements.

"Right now, we're focused on the June event, but there will be other news. I'm thinking. GoldenEye-type announcements."

(Goldeneye was announced by Nintendo for Switch and Microsoft for Xbox in January, and was released the day after.)

"Evidencedly, there will be new games available on different services." Game Pass will continue to expand, but most of our work as a team is dedicated to preparations for the launch.

For this reason, it's best not to expect another Xbox Developer_Direct anytime soon, as we saw in January when Hi Fi Rush was announced as a surprise and "shadow drop."

Instead, cards are saved for the usual June event, which, although it will not be going to E3, prepares its own Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase (and the one last year was packed with advertisements).

A Starfield-focused showcase might be announced very soon, although Forza Motorsport has no date.

Another Xbox first party, Minecraft Legends, will be released in June, although it will also be released for other consoles as well.
