Phil Spencer discussed exclusivity in the gaming world during a recent interview with Xbox On, noting that Starfield was never announced for PlayStation, and that Microsoft never stated that the game would not be limited to its platforms.
Phil Spencer wanted to stress that the Shooter Series would continue to be released everywhere, as has been done to date, while also mentioning that Microsoft has already signed ten-year agreements with Nintendo and NVIDIA to prolong the publication of the next chapters on Switch and GeForce Now.
If Activision is acquired by Microsoft, Call of Duty will continue to exist in a cross-platform format, and Spencer assures that each version will perform in its best possible light? Spencer stressed and reiterated that no content type will be relegated to the Xbox ecosystem in the future.
Spencer has not missed an opportunity to poke a hole out of his shoe and criticize Sony for putting a specific one-off Hogwarts Legacy mission on his consoles: "It's not the game we're going to play," he says.
Spencer made the same statement before the Xbox Showcase in June.
