Apple Distributes MacOS Ventura 13.3 for Testing in the Second Beta ...

The second beta of macOS Ventura 13.3 was handed to developers for testing on Tuesday, two weeks after the first macOS Ventura 13.3 beta.

Developers may download macOS Ventura 13.3 via the Apple Developer Center, and once the correct profile is installed, future betas will be available via the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences.

MacOS Ventura 13.3 includes new emoji characters such as shaking head, pink heart, blue heart, gray heart, donkey, moose, blackbird, goose, wing, jellyfish, hyacinth, pea pod, ginger, fan, flute, maracas, left hand, and right hand.

The Messages app now supports content previews for shared Mastodon links, and new options in Shortcuts allow for the creation of workflows with Siri notification announcements.

Mac OS Ventura is compatible with the following Mac models:

  • iMac 2017 and later
  • Mac Pro 2019 and later
  • iMac Pro 2017
  • Mac mini 2018 and later
  • MacBook Air 2018 and later
  • MacBook 2017 and later
  • MacBook Pro 2017 and later

Both MacTrast and Apple advise users not to install any betas on their daily driver Macs, rather than installing betas on devices set aside for testing.
