Maon Kurosaki's official staff account and the Art One Entertainment talent agency had announced on Tuesday evening that the singer had unexpectedly passed away on February 16 due to illness complications. The organization and staff expressed their appreciation to all of the fans who supported her.
Kurosaki collapsed during her live-streaming concert to commemorate her 11th anniversary as a singer in September 2021. She then underwent emergency surgery for epidural hematoma, described by Medscape as a severe accumulation of blood between the inner table of the skull and the stripped-off dural membrane.
