Jennifer Salke, the CEO of Amazon Studios, has commented on Warner Bros.' "Lord of the Rings," which had just been launched. Theoretically, these films would compete with Amazon's most expensive series, Rings of Power.
The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power has enough viewers and fan interest to keep the program going for a long time, according to Salke. The show is expected to last for at least five seasons.
Warner Bros. is currently in a very early stage of development: they have neither directors nor actors. There are probably still a few years left before the premiere; during this time, Amazon may release most of the seasons of its series.
Rings of Power is currently filming in the United Kingdom. The season premiere is expected to take place before 2024.
