Bing AI chatbot added to Taskbar in Windows 11 for the first time ...

Microsoft is slowly rolling out Windows 11 22H2's second feature drop update, and among the new features, the company is adding the new Bing AI chatbot to the Taskbar.

The Bing chatbot was previously announced as a new feature for Windows 11 that includes ChatGPT integration.

The new Bing icon is now visible in the search box when you click the link in the flyout. Instead, Microsoft Edge will open in the Bing Chat experience. So, this is only a simplified version of the chatbot that will interact with your files and settings.

With these instructions, you may install the Bing AI with ChatGPT as a web app.

Although it is now possible to launch a Bing Chat from the Windows 11 desktop, you must sign up to get early access to the chatbot. Initially, the wait time was long, but the company has been actively expanding its availability to additional users.

The feature drop (moment 2) update for Windows 11 includes additional improvements to the Taskbar, Quick Settings, Widgets, and Voice Access.

The operating system now has a revamped Taskbar that collapses and expands while in tablet mode.

The update will be available for everybody on February 14, 2023, and will be available as an optional update.
