The release date for The Super Mario Bros Movie has been pushed back two days, to Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in the United States and 60+ other countries internationally. Otherwise, the film will still release on April 28 in Japan, and it will be available in other markets throughout April and May.
The Super Mario Bros Movie has already received a lot of attention from Nintendo and Illumination. The first trailer for the film revealed almost too much of the film, but then McDonald's released a wave of games for the film that you could buy last month.
Nintendo and Illumination are still working on a sequel to The Super Mario Bros Movie, which will be released on April 5 in a Nintendo Direct format.
