Tom Sizemore, a veteran actor who was admitted to hospital earlier this month after suffering a brain aneurysm, has remained critical, in a coma, and in the intensive care unit as the doctors concluded that there is no chance for his recovery. The family of the "Pearl Harbor" actor has decided to make "end-of-life decisions."

Tom's Family Makes a Tough Decision

Following the doctor's update, Tom Sizemore's family is deciding on"end-of-life issues." The "Heat" actor, who was hospitalised earlier this month due to a brain aneurysm, has remained in critical condition, in a coma, and in the intensive care unit.

Charles Lago, Tom Sizemore's rep, issued a statement on Monday (Feb. 27). Lago said, "Today, doctors informed his family that there is no further hope and have recommended an end of life recommendation." The family is now deciding whether or not to make a decision. A second statement will be issued on Wednesday.

"We are seeking privacy for his family during this difficult time," said the speaker, adding, "They wish to thank everyone for the dozens of messages of support and prayers that have been received."

What Was Happened To Tom Sizemore?

Tom Sizemore collapsed at his Los Angeles home in the early hours on February 18th. He has since been in critical condition, in a coma, and in the intensive care unit.

A brain aneurysm is a "brain bulge or ballooning." It may leak or rupture, causing bleeding into the brain (hemorrhagic stroke)."

Tom has starred in hit films including "Heart and Souls" and "Pearl Harbor." Popular in the 1990s with "Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man", "True Romance," and "Natural Born Killer"

Tom's breakthrough came in Steven Spielberg's 1998 war drama "Saving Private Ryan," in which he played Technical Sergeant Mike Horvath. The film won a Best Picture nomination at the Academy Awards. Before his condition, he appeared in "C.L.E.A.N" (2020), a horror/thriller thriller film that won a Vegas Movie award. He will win another Vegas Movie Award in 2021 for "The Electric Man."

Tom has struggled with drug addiction and a string of legal issues since being convicted of domestic violence charges against Heidi Fleiss last year.
