FromSoftware's intentions for future games have not shifted because to Elden Ring's triumph ...

Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director of Elder Ring and Dark Souls, said that FromSoftware's latest effort hasn't altered his future games' plans. The statement was made shortly after the DICE Awards, where Elden Ring won several awards.

Miyazaki responded: "Obviously Elden Ring is a commercial success. Everyone knows it, but he didn't influence what we're going to create." Basically we will continue to produce the games we want to produce, and that's our policy."

“Working on Elden Ring was a great experience for me and for the whole development team. In some instances we were unable to complete certain tasks or implement them in the game.”

Elden Ring has sold over 20 million copies since its release, although no information on the first official expansion has been released. FromSoftware is also working on Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, which will be released in the summer of 2023.
