The Dota 2 Lima Major bracket has been established, and we have all the information regarding which teams are moving on and which ones are returning.
Let's go over the 18 teams that made it to this stage. The top four teams from each group moved on to the upper bracket, while the bottom three teams went to the lower bracket.
Gaimin Gladiators and Team Spirit finished on top with 11 wins and 5 losses each, but Gamin Gladiators snagged the top seed due to tie-breaker rules. Evil Geniuses and Talon Esports also advanced to the upper bracket with records of 10-6 each, but EG had the tie-breaker advantage.
PSG.LGD and Tundra Esports were the final two teams to qualify for the lower bracket in Group A, with PSG.LGD just completing the feat with a 7-9 record. Tundra Esports was the only team to miss the group stage due to an overwhelming majority of opponents. However, both TSM and Execration were able to avoid tie-breakers.
Team Liquid and Entity secured their places in the upper bracket early on, only losing two maps throughout the group stage. Knights had a tough time, only winning one game and losing 15 to finish dead last.
Shopify Rebellion advancing to the upper bracket with a 10-6 scoreline, and BetBoom Team falling in eighth place.
Let's get to the tie-breakers. Aster won a best of three contest with beastcoast, and HellRaisers won.
The top eight teams will now compete in the main event's first round of matches, while the losers will be eliminated from the lower bracket qualifiers on 28 February. Make sure you mark your calendars and prepare for some intense Dota 2 action!
