Hugh Jackman should get started on his training.
According to the Film & Television Industry Alliance database, shooting for Deadpool 3 will begin on May 1st. The film is currently in preproduction.
Deadpool 3 will be shot in Vancouver, Canada, provided the base's information is correct. No word on when filming will begin.
In a December interview, director Shawn Levy predicted filming would begin in late spring 2023.
Hugh Jackman, who has returned to the role of Wolverine specifically in Deadpool 3, said in January that his training would take roughly six months.
Deadpool 3 has a number of scenes featuring Wolverine that we don't know yet. Perhaps the filmmakers will film all of the other scenes first, giving Jackman an opportunity to get pumped up.
Deadpool 3 will be released on November 8, 2024.
