DeLorean garnered attention last year when it announced its intentions to release the Alpha5 electric car, which resembles the movie legend in some ways but with a more practical four-seat interior. As it turns out, DeLorean will be forced to release fewer electric cars of this model than previously.
The Alpha5 electric automobile will be released in the number of 9351 pieces, according to Barron's, which cited DeLorean. Some "supply chain" obstacles will prevent the production of Alpha5 electric automobiles in the initial quantity.
The price of the DeLorean Alpha5's production version hasn't been revealed yet, although you may reserve a seat in the queue for $3,500. Those who wish to sell the spot or buy it will be offered a special auction.
