Netflix is currently putting a lot of new content to the test. Some of these ideas are a lot... badly discussed. One wonders why, out of all the services on Netflix, Apple would choose the least popular. However, this is what the Cupertino company is about to do.

Money Issues on Netflix and How to Correct Them

Most people believe that Netflix is successful and generating huge sums. The truth is, buying, constructing, and hosting tens of thousands of films and series costs an arm and a leg. Even if Netflix repeats its "TOUDOUM" for more than 230 million subscriber accounts, the king of the streaming market fails to meet the financial threshold.

Netflix will have to redouble its innovation to make more money than the box spends. This is how it works for a company that is already known to most potential customers. Up prices? This is what Netflix does on a fairly regular basis, quite to sacrifice subscribers in the process.

The 3rd approach to growth is the search for new means. Netflix's major focus at this time is the fight against account sharing. We have already written several articles on this subject. The 100 million people who use Netflix without paying represent a huge deficit that the streaming service intends to recuperate.

Netflix has devoted so much to account sharing, it's probably because their previous program was a failure. 'Essentiel avec pub' is a new subscription model that's cheaper than the others (only €5.99 per month), which, as its name implies, places advertisements between two episodes of your moment.

The release of Netflix Essential with ads has prompted the press and social networks to reacted enormously... badly. Worse yet, this new subscription model has not fulfilled its purpose. The accounts now exist.

Apple: the Apple TV+ service, soon with advertising?

The introduction of a low-cost subscription model with advertising is certainly one of the worst in Netflix's history. However, according to our colleagues from The Information, Apple is willing to embrace it for its own streaming service, Apple TV +. This is why the apple recently hired Lauren Fry, a prominent advertising specialist for television and streaming platforms.

Lauren Fry's team would have been formed in November 2022, and 7 or 6 figure agreements would have already been made. Apple already broadcasts advertising in sports broadcasts for which the Apple brand has ownership. Advertising experts agree that Apple has a very good prospect of incorporating advertising inserts into Apple TV+ productions in the near future.

The realities of Netflix and Apple aren't exactly comparable. Apple is a world-class business, with a worldwide market capitalization, and its video streaming service is merely dust in its dust. A dust, nonetheless, that must be cleaned out.
