Honor unveiled the most affordable alternative to the older Magic5 Pro at MWC 2023. The gadget has more compact dimensions and less advanced screens and cameras than its older brother.
Honor Magic5 has a 6.73-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2688 1224 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a peak brightness of 1600 cd/m2 higher. The screen has a high PWM frequency of 2160 Hz, which should provide enhanced comfort to the user's eyes.
Magic5 has a single camera system that consists of a 54-megapixel main module (1/49′′, f/1.9), a 32-megapixel wide-angle camera (122°, f/2.0), and a 50-megapixel digital zoom. The selfie camera here is 12 megapixels, with a 100-degree viewing angle.
The Magic5 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory. The smartphone has a 5100 mAh battery, which is similar to the Magic5 Pro. However, the younger one is 1 mm thinner.
In the second quarter of this year, Honor Magic5 will be available for purchase in black and blue versions. In Europe, the only known configuration (8/256 GB) will cost 899 euros.
