How to Get a Metal Detector in Stalcraft
Both the SN-1u Mini-Pancake and the SN-2u Leglet are metal detectors available in Stalcraft. However, the SN-2u Leglet wins out in terms of objective superiority.
Both locations are popular among factions: the Photon-2 and the Garages. Go to Photon-2 if you're a Stalker.
In a pinch, the SN-1u Mini-Pancake will work, but choose the SN-2u Leglet, which is better and free! The metal detector includes a screen that makes finding caches much easier.
When Junkman sends you to the dump to have a chat, the SN-2u Metal Detector is a must have item that may be acquired early in the main quest.
