Keke Palmer, 29, gave birth on February 25, and shared the first pictures of her newborn on Instagram two days later. He already has the name Leo, and is Keke's first child with boyfriend Darius Jackson, who also shared their thoughts about the baby's arrival on Saturday Night Live.
The Nope star first disclosed her pregnancy during a shocking monologue on the Dec. 3, 2022 episode of Saturday Night Live. "People are in my comments saying 'Keke's having a baby, Keke's pregnant." The brunette beauty made the announcement as she unbuttoned her brown blouse to reveal her growing baby bump.
Many of her 11.6 million followers took to the comments section to congratulate her. "Keke Keep A Bag Palmer! ", one admirer wrote, while another added, "I am so overjoyed for you."
Keke wrote a lengthy letter of thanks for her big moment in hosting Saturday Night Live. The cast was amazing, and I was so grateful to be invited to their house for such a short time. It was especially rewarding to be around so many others who appreciate and invest their time in their craft.
Keke mentioned how excited she was to be putting her life on the line with her baby. "My baby and I are already doing it all together," she added. "You do nothing in this world alone," she continued. "Really grateful... Happy holidays!"
Keke admitted that she hasn't revealed who her child's father is, but has been dating Darius Jackson since 2021. She took to Twitter days after her SNL appearance to criticize online haters for declaring her to be "ugly." "I want everybody to get the help they need," she said, adding that makeup isn't real.
