Last September, Ubisoft announced a few new Assassin games in the Assassin's Creed universe. However, this does not appear to be the end of the road, as the studio intends to execute four more Assassin projects.

Ubisoft, a French developer and publisher, announced a series of "Assassin's Creed" games in September 2022. A total of four new parts were announced at the time: "Assassin's Creed Mirage," "Codename Red," "Codename Hexe" and "Codename Jade." The multiplayer title followed shortly afterwards "Project Invictus".

But that's not the end of the story. According to insider Tom Henderson, Ubisoft is planning four more Assassin's Creed projects, as well as resuming a quarterly release schedule.

According to insiders, six games are currently in the works.

According to Insider Gaming sources, Ubisoft is working on around six games in the Assassin's Creed universe. One of them is the VR game "Project Nexus," which hasn't yet been released. The game might however be presented at the next E3 in June.

Project Nebula, a game that developed Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation and Assassin's Creed Rogue, is being developed by studio Ubisoft Sofia. The game is expected to include well-known characters from the Assassin's Creed universe.

Annecy, a game development company, had previously worked on "Assassin's Creed" and "Splinter Cell." Now, the designers should develop "Project Echoes," a cloud-based technology.

Insider-Gaming is a new field of investigation.
