Elder Ring, along with the other Souls-style games from FromSoftware, offers a vast gaming experience that can be explored completely solo. However, not many players have explored the world's unique multiplayer content, which includes PvP, co-op PvE, and an asynchronous communication via messages.
When asked what new technologies, trends, or concepts he finds challenging or exciting right now, Elden Ring awarded five awards (including Game of the Year) at the 26th DICE Awards.
"I'm not sure if this is the latest trend, but the multiplayer elements" he said. "Especially when it comes to [Escape From] Tarkov," he said. Others in the industry continue to improve multiplayer structure capabilities and game design to transform the way users interact in gameplay and how they are utilized as an asset for gameplay."
Miyazaki said that despite his commercial successes, which has pushed Elden Ring to sell 20 million copies since its release, FromSoftware will not allow himself to be influenced by his next projects: "Basically we continue developing the games we want to develop, and this is our policy."
