The recently released game "Wild Hearts" has been reviewed by Digital Foundry on different platforms.
The PS5 version of "Wild Hearts" received good reviews. 44 reviews led to one Meta score of 8.3 for those who contributed a user score.
Despite the public's acceptance, "Wild Hearts" must overcome technical difficulties, and its performance isn't always up to date, as an analysis by Digital Foundry demonstrates.
Even with an RTX 4090 system with a Core i9 12900K and fast DDR5, there were frequent stutters in the tests.
Pixel crawl artifacts are included in the PS5 version.
Wild Hearts is a resolution game that is v-synced 30 frames per second, with little sign of frame-pacing issues. According to Digital Foundry, the downside is that the game suffers from pixel crawl artifacts in this mode, which isn't an issue in the 60fps performance mode.
The 30 FPS mode on Xbox Series X also encountered problems. This was not the case here; rather, uneven frame pacing was discovered, with frame times varying between 16, 33 and 50 minutes.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X have a 60 FPS Performance mode, with the PS5 having an advantage in the Minato hub area. Framerate decreases in a few areas on Xbox Series X, especially near the shrines.
The Xbox Series S is a fairly stripped-down experience. It only has a 30 frame rate, which Digital Foundry claims never feels particularly smooth. And as a result, "Wild Hearts" is less recommendable on this platform.
The PS5 and Xbox Series X are available in Resolution mode at 30 frames per second and 1080p at up to 60 frames per second in Performance mode. The Xbox Series S is 900p and up to 30 frames per second.
