The rumor mill was already boiling up a bit in advance, but now it's officially confirmed: The current Pokémon Crimson / Crimson will get a bi-part, large DLC.
The Pokemon Company has announced a two-part DLC for the popular Switch title Pokemon Crimson / Crimson as part of today's Pokemon Presents. Additional content will be released later in 2023.
The two-part DLC for Crimson / Purple is not new to franchise fans, as it was already used in Sword / Shield. The first part is named "The Teal Mask" and will be released in autumn.
The area you visit as part of a school excursion is called Kitakami, and there are new legendary Pokémon to offer in the first graphic, which includes a boy and a girl and three Pokémon.
The third additional content, titled "The Indigo Disk," is more about the study aspect, although it is currently unclear what you will do there. And, here, too, you will meet another legendary Pokémon that looks like a turtle.
Both parts are expected to bring back some Pokemon that were previously absent from the base game, such as Milotic and Ninetales in Part 1 and Metagross or Seel in Part 2. However, Pokemon Home is expected to be released in early 2023, as will Pokemon connectivity GO.
