On March 13, two Finnish studios – Undertow Games and fakefish – and Daedalic Entertainment, a German publishing house, will release a cooperative submarine simulator Barotrauma, which was previously available for pre-order. The authors claimed that 2.5 million people “stepped onboard the submarine”.
After the full release, the game will feature competing factions and a fresh campaign finale. Outposts, wrecked submarines, and improved alien ruins are now available for exploration.
The game's focus will be on one of Jupiter's moons, which is covered in ice, yet beneath its surface is a vast ocean of life and secrets. Players will travel Europe, avoiding confrontation with its inhabitants, monitoring life support systems, and crafts.
