The entire 110-second teaser for Apple TV+'s popular hit series, "Ted Lasso," will be released on March 15, 2023. As well as all of the other popular characters in the series, Jason Sudeikis will play Ted Lasso.
The last season of "Ted Lasso" was set to begin filming on March 6, 2022. The creator of the popular Apple TV+ series has stated that the sports comedy might only last three seasons, regardless of how popular the program is.
Bill Lawrence, the creator of the series along with series stars Jason Sudeikis, Joe Kelly, and Brendan Hunt, said on a podcast that the program would likely run beyond the third season.
“Ted Lasso is a three-season program.” Lawrence said. “It would be very difficult for me to get Mr. Sudeikis to do a fourth season.”
"Ted Lasso" won the second Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy in September, becoming only the eighth series in Emmy history to win the award.
With four total awards, 'Ted Lasso' became the most Emmy-winning comedy for the second year in a row, including Emmy Awards for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Brett Goldstein), and Outstanding Directorial for a Comedy Series (MJ Delaney).
