According to well-known industry insider Tom Henderson, "Assassin's Creed: Codename Red" will have two playable main characters. There is speculation for a release in 2024.
Ubisoft unveiled the latest "Assassin's Creed" adventures at a major digital event in September last year.
"Assassin's Creed: Codename Red" is being developed by the designers of Ubisoft Quebec and will offer a dynamic world that dynamically evolves based on the players' actions.
Tom Henderson, a well-known insider, wrote a few words about "Codename Red" on Insider Gaming later in the day.
"Assassin's Creed: Codename Red" will have two playable main characters, according to Henderson.
Is a release date for 2024 on the horizon?
Henderson left it open whether there are two different protagonists in "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate," or just a male and a female version of the same hero. The extent to which "Codename Red" may return to the "Assassin's Creed" series' roots remains to be seen.
Henderson stated that Assassin's Creed: Codename Red will be released in 2024, which is an appropriate move given that Assassin's Creed: Mirage is expected to be released this year. At the end of last year, Henderson noted that the previous development of "Codename Red" was somewhat uneventful.
Henderson claims that the release of "Assassin's Creed: Codename Witch" should be moved forward. Since Henderson in the case of "Codename Red," it is reasonable to assume that the game's development is now much smoother.
