The Fronts open world is populated with mutants, traps, crafts, and time travel ...

Samar, a Singapore-based studio, has announced its first game, The Front, which will be released this year on PC, and it already has a trailer and a page on Steam.

A brutal tyrannical empire is attempting to recapture all of humanity through surveillance devices and advanced technology. People are deprived of their homes, freedom, faith, and sometimes life until the remaining members of the resistance return to the past in order to restore history.

Players will go to ruins and enemy sites, construct bases, craft weapons and equipment, battle the elements, and engage in epic battles between imperial forces, exiles, and rebels.

The creators envision a 36-square-kilometer open world with many biomes, ten weather seasons, a vast arsenal of weapons and modifications to it, as well as a wide assortment of traps, building modules, ground, air, and sea equipment, and more than 400 technical formulas to study.
