New sanctions have been introduced by US authorities that will apply to all Russian citizens. According to this decision, there are now limitations on the purchase of various items at an affordable price. The list also includes mobile devices over $300.
According to experts, these restrictions would make parallel imports more difficult because they would affect a quarter of the Russian market for smartphones imported under "gray" schemes.
China will not be able to assist either, since smartphones from Chinese manufacturers, which have surpassed 25% of American technology, will be subjected to these restrictions. Experts speculate that large corporations may refuse to import a number of brands, including Apple iPhone and Samsung Galaxy.
