Obsidian Entertainment employees Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky discussed the possibility of re-releasing the original Fallout game for next-generation platforms. Not only does Kane and Boyarsky, who co-created the original Fallout games, but also Bethesda, the creators of Fallout New Vegas.
Alas, since then, we have not heard a single announcement regarding the Fallout series, and Bethesda itself is still focusing on Fallout 76. It is not known whether the creators of the cult series would change anything in this situation.
