The 404 Game RE:SET teaser series features a few familiar Sega game titles that were previously unveiled. Yoko Taro, the game's creator, has contributed to the series. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
The first reveal of four of the 404 Game RE:SET characters was made, but Fantasy Zone is a new member to the confirmed cast. The teases give an introduction to the character and the "original masterpiece" game that inspired them.
Anode, from Outrun, takes pride in her speed, according to anyone and everything.
Afterburner Type: Anode is a lovely woman who is dedicated to "protecting everybody," even if it means hurting them to do so. She's voiced by Akari Kito (Aiba in AI: The Somnium Files, Erice Utsumi in Fate/Grand Order).
Virtua Cop Type: Anode, voicing Aoi Yuuki (Pascal from NieR Automata, Shuten-Douji from Fate/Grand Order)
Fairouz Ai (Jolyne in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, Power in Chainsaw Man) speaks as a Virtua Fighter Type: Anode. She believes in effort and that any dream may be realized when you work hard.
The fantasy zone type: Anode was also included in the 404 Game RE:SET characters preview. For her, money is more precious than anything, and happiness is "absolutely valuable."
RE:SET, a 404 game, is currently being developed for iOS and Android devices. It will be released in Japan in 2023, and a pre-registration campaign is underway.
