Trails of Cold Steel: Northern War is getting a game adaptation, which will be available on smartphones in Japan on February 24, 2023. Pre-registrations are now open on the official site.
The game adaptation of Trails of Cold Steel Northern War takes place in the same location as the anime series of the same name. It depicts the conflict between Erebonia and North Ambria that takes place between the time periods of Trails of Cold Steel II and III. Lavian Winslet is a member of the Northern Jaegers, a mercenary group.
The game's simian and gacha elements are unclear, although promotional images on the official website show the characters of Lavian, Martin, Iseria, and Talion. The game's pre-registration campaign includes a free SSR unit based on Elie MacDowell, a character from Trails from Zero.
In Japan, a mobile game called The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War is in the works. A release date has not yet been announced.
