DLC for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom might be available on the Nintendo site ...

It's a very real possibility that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom may have gods DLC or expansions, and it'd probably not surprise anyone, since it'd just be in keeping with the previous chapter, but a first hint at this possibility comes from the publisher's official site.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which contains information and materials about the next chapter of the series that will be released on Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023, has made a reference to the following sentence: "Full version of game required to use DLC, sold separately"

This double asterisk does not even have a direct reference in the above text, making the insertion of such a clarification even more improbable. In any event, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild may also have DLC.

Although it remains to be seen whether the term applies to cosmetic content or in-game items as part of amiibo (already confirmed) or actual expansions, it is likely that it applies to both, especially the more significant content additions that might only be made months after the game's release.
