Ubisoft is currently working on three additional full-fledged sections of the series, including an Assassin's Creed and VR game. They are currently in the design and prototype stages.
These are the code names for these Assassin's Creeds: Theme:
Ubisoft Sofia is responsible for the game; Raid studies Ubisoft Chengdu, an open source game with up to four users in one team and PvE. Characters from different parts of Assassin's Creed will appear in the Raid;
Echoes has created Ubisoft Annecy (worked on multiplayer for Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell, helped with The Division 2) and Massive Entertainment. It will be a kind of multiplayer project.
Moreover, each role will have a different gameplay style from previous Assassin's Creed games. According to Henderson, Ubisoft is "betting everything on Assassin's Creed and other big franchises."
Ubisoft is expected to continue to release new versions of Assassin's Creed annually in August. The game is already in good shape, according to Henderson sources, with two playable characters; Assassin's Creed Invictus – 2025; Assassin's Creed Hexe – 2026.
