When will Mortal Kombat 12 be released? We've all seen speculations, leaks, and everything we've eve ...

Warner Bros. Games has finally decided to release Mortal Kombat 12, following months of speculation and indiscretions. The release date for the game will be set for 2023.

Despite the expected sequence, the announcement took place in a rather unusual manner according to Warner Bros Discovery's CEO, David Zaslav, at the very last shareholder meeting. This means that production details are very scarce at the moment. No trailer has been released, the target platforms have not been revealed, and the precise date, as we saw at the beginning, is currently unknown.

When will Mortal Kombat 12 be released?

In the absence of specific information, we can only speculate. The last three installments of the series (Mortal Kombat 2011, Mortal Kombat X, and Mortal Kombat 11) were released in April, therefore it would be natural to speculate on the same launch date. However, since we are already at the gates of March and the new NetherRealm Studios fighting game has never been released, we would like to rule out this possibility.

The Suicide Squiad: Kill the Justice League, another game from Warner Bros. Games expects big revenues, while June was claimed by Capcom's Street Fighter 6, therefore we believe that the most likely windows are those of the last summer weeks and, above all, that autumnal.

The release date, which might happen at any time, is equally difficult to predict. We certainly anticipate a visit to E3 2023, and above all to EVO 2023, the most important competition dedicated to fighting games, which this year will take place from 4 to 6 August, with Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate already included in the games list.
