After a fantastic first season, Shadow and Bone is set to return for fresh adventures.
Shadow and Bone is the first episode of the SVOD Netflix platform on April 23, 2021. It's a story about Alina Starkov, an orphan and cartographer in the Ravka Nation's First Army who discovers she is a Grisha, a magician who can manipulate the elements. It's also about the Crows, a gang of criminals who are entitled to their own works.
A bolder sequel is on the way.
Ben Barnes, who plays General Kirigan, described this season as "bigger, bolder." The remainder of the adventures will be available on Netflix on March 16th.
The next season will naturally adapt volume 2 of the Grisha saga called Siege and Storm. Eight episodes of approximately one hour each will be available, with Jessie Mei Li in the main role of Alina Starkov, as well as Ben Barnes in the role of Aleksander Kirigan. Additional names will be included on the program such as Anna Leong Brophy, Lewis Tan, Patrick Gibson, and Jack Wolfe.
