Can Samsung's Exynos 1380 be redeemed to gamers this year?
Samsung has developed a new mid-range smartphone platform called Exynos 1380, which will form the heart of the Galaxy A54 and M54 smartphones, which will be released in the first quarter of 2023.
The Exynos 1380 is an octa-core processor that was developed using a 5nm process. The chip is armed with a neural coprocessor (NPU) with a claimed performance of 4.9 TOPS, which is used in intelligent image processing algorithms from the camera.
Although the Galaxy A53 may have a gaming experience similar to those on the Dimensity 920, it has in reality had significant issues with games. Samsung engineers will not see the younger A34 in the best light if it does not improve its game.
The Exynos 1380 processor is compatible with UFS 3.1 drives and LPDDR4X and LPDDR5 RAM.
The mobile platform includes 5G frequency bands up to 6 GHz, as well as mmWave, which offers the maximum download speed of 3.6 Gb / s, and upload speeds of 1.28 Gb / s. We hope that the new chipset will not degrade the device's appearance in all other respects.
