Assemble Entertainment and Little Knight Games have released a developer commentary on the upcoming Metroidvania Mira and the Legend of the Djinns, which will be released later this year on PC. Chief developer Rachid Hassani explains why the studio chose to include its own origins in the sequel to "Mira and the Legend of the Djinns."

"Mira and the Legend of the Djinns" is a Metroidvania heartbeat that's been beating since the beginning. The Djinns are the titular mythical animals from the Moroccan kingdom Little Night Games. The story is based on the Djinns' eponymous mythological creatures, the Djinns.
