FromSoftware has announced that Elder Ring has been distributed across the world in 20 million copies, both for retail sellers and for digital copies, confirming the huge success of the action game that dominated everyone on PC and consoles.

Elden Ring sold on a regular and consistent basis last June by Bandai Namco, but in the meantime another 3.4 million units were sold in the following months, bringing the total number of sales to 20 million.

Elden Ring was released on February 25, 2022 globally on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, and it immediately gained widespread attention from critics, eventually becoming a major mass phenomenon, despite its distinctive gameplay.

Elden Ring has sold more than 20 million copies after being dedicated for a long time to a wider audience.

The introduction of the new formula open world has been well-known, with different gameplay for players, different approaches, and keeping the exploration and excitement of discovery as the main elements of the experience.
