With what appears to be a new RPG, publisher FuRyu is arguing what it means to be "human." More information should be available by March 2023.
Crymachina's teaser site will be up on February 22, 2023. It consists of a blank screen with the game's logo, a schedule for March 1, 2023 at 12pm JST, and a countdown. There are also platform logos for the PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
The Crymachina teaser site answers a question in Japanese: "What is human?" This ranges from "Humans are stupid," to "Humans are confidential." One answer even matches a translation of a famous French philosopher Pascal's comment, saying "Humans are a thinking reef."
Crymachina is described as a "completely new" title in a press release accompanying the official Twitter account. FuRyu is no stranger to high-quality RPG titles. Both published the Caligula Effect games in 2022, and Monark.
Crymachina is in the works on PS4, PS5 and PC. No release date has been announced yet.
